In 2017, wandering the vibrant, chaotic leather souks of Marrakech, our founder David met Khalid, a master leather artisan. Watching Khalid work, a spark of inspiration hit: why not make “leather slippers” (or babouche in Arabic) to protect golf clubs?
To guarantee absolute, uncompromising quality, we brought production home. Today, every single Babouche! cover is cut, aligned, and meticulously hand-stitched right here in our UK workshop. We chose authentic craftsmanship over cheap, mass-produced plastic imports to build gear that survives 100+ rounds and supports local manufacturing jobs.
